VetWel KidneyWel Tablet packaging

What Is It Used For?

KidneyWel® is formulated to complement veterinary care by supporting normal renal function, urinary system wellness, urinary flow, and the body's natural elimination processes.

How Does the Formula Work?

The multi-botanical formulation is designed around several complementary support pathways rather than a single mechanism, including urinary flow, natural elimination, antioxidant support, urinary comfort, and secondary gastrointestinal phosphorus support.

When May It Be Considered?

  • When additional renal wellness support is appropriate
  • As complementary nutritional support in veterinary-managed renal care plans
  • For senior cats and dogs needing renal support
  • When urinary flow and natural elimination support are desired
  • Alongside a veterinarian-directed renal nutrition program
  • When longer-term renal support is recommended by a veterinarian

Veterinary Approach

KidneyWel® is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent renal disease and does not replace veterinary examination or treatment. Renal diets, fluid therapy, prescription medications, laboratory monitoring, and other interventions should be determined by the veterinarian according to the individual patient's clinical status.

Ingredients & Formulation Rationale

KidneyWel® is not built around a single mechanism. Its broad botanical complex is designed to complement renal and urinary care by supporting renal function, urinary flow, natural elimination, urinary comfort, and mineral/debris management.

  • Equisetum arvense: Included as part of the formulation's diuresis and urinary-flow support strategy.
  • Lespedeza capitata: Included in the phytotherapeutic approach to renal support and natural elimination.
  • Orthosiphon stamineus: Complements the urinary-flow and renal support strategy.
  • Rubia tinctorum: Included as part of the formulation's approach to urinary mineral and debris management.
  • Phaseolus vulgaris: Provides secondary support for reducing gastrointestinal phosphorus absorption as one component of the broader formula.

The formula also contains Berberis, Taraxacum, Urtica, Chamomilla, and other selected botanical ingredients.

Important: KidneyWel® is not a phosphate binder. Support for reducing gastrointestinal phosphorus absorption is a secondary component of its broader renal and urinary support strategy.
