What Is It Used For?

LactoWel® is formulated to support intestinal microbiota, normal digestive function, and the gut–immune axis as part of a broader gastrointestinal wellness approach.

Probiotic Approach

The probiotic microorganisms in the formula support intestinal microbiota and normal digestive function. The probiotic bacteria used in LactoWel® are non-spore-forming, vegetative bacteria.

Botanical Support

LactoWel® is not a probiotic-only formula. Selected botanical extracts complement the probiotic component as part of a broader gastrointestinal support strategy.

Gut-Barrier Support

A balanced intestinal microbiota and normal gastrointestinal function play important roles in maintaining gut-barrier integrity. LactoWel® is designed to provide nutritional support for this interconnected system.

Probiotic Pathway

Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 and Lactobacillus plantarum DSM 12837 are the defined probiotic strains used to support intestinal microbiota and normal digestive function.

Gastrointestinal Botanical Support

Plantain, oregano, calendula, and yarrow form part of the botanical group selected to complement gastrointestinal wellness.

Normal Immune Function

Echinacea and selected botanicals complement the formulation's support for normal immune function.

Botanical Antioxidant Support

Eucalyptus, pine leaf, maple leaf, birch root, and other botanicals contribute to the formula's broader botanical-support profile.

Combining probiotic and botanical components allows LactoWel® to be positioned as a broader gastrointestinal-support formula rather than only a source of probiotic microorganisms.

Veterinary Approach

Persistent diarrhea, recurrent vomiting, poor appetite, weight loss, hematochezia, melena, or recurrent gastrointestinal problems should be evaluated by a veterinarian to identify the underlying cause.

LactoWel® does not replace diagnosis, fluid therapy, an appropriate diet, antimicrobial treatment, or other necessary veterinary care.

Directions for Use

LactoWel® is supplied in tablet form.

Cats: 1 tablet per administration.

Dogs: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight per administration.

Up to 10 kg: 1 tablet
10–20 kg: 2 tablets
20–30 kg: 3 tablets
30–40 kg: 4 tablets
40–50 kg: 5 tablets
50–120 kg: 5 tablets

Frequency

Administer twice daily: morning – evening.

Duration

General use: at least 7–10 days. Duration may be adjusted according to veterinary assessment.
